Overview

Bullpen Bluff is a poker-style game where Baseball meets Poker. You start with 2,000 chips. Each hand has two hole cards and five community cards. Threes (3s) are wild. You bet by choosing an action each phase; the best five-card hand wins the main pot. A side bet is available in the final phase.

Getting Started

  1. From the lobby, tap Play Ball to join the queue and be seated at a table.
  2. Your Chips and the table Pool (main pot) are shown at the top. Sidebet is the optional side-pot amount.
  3. When a new hand starts, you receive two private hole cards. Community cards are revealed in phases.

Playing Phases

Each hand has a timer (about 15 seconds per phase). You must choose an action before time runs out or you will automatically Bunt (fold and add 10 chips to the pot).

  1. Turn 1 — Three community cards are dealt. Choose your action (Bunt, Hit, Steal 1, or Steal 2).
  2. Turn 2 — Two more community cards are dealt (five total). Choose your action again.
  3. Showdown — All cards are final. Choose Hit, Side Bet, or Bunt. (Steal 1 and Steal 2 are not offered in showdown; they are treated as Hit.)
  4. Scoreboard — The winner is announced, chips are paid out, and the next hand begins after the timer.

Winning and Payouts

  1. The player with the highest-ranked hand among those who did not bunt wins the main pot.
  2. The full main pot is awarded to the winner or split among tied winners; there is no dealer rake on the main pot.
  3. If only one player remains (everyone else bunted), that player wins the main pot without a showdown.
  4. If you placed a Side Bet and win the hand, you also win the full side pot. If you placed a side bet and another player wins the hand, you do not get the side bet back.
  5. Ties are possible; the pot can be split between players with the same best hand.
